The Andrew Kesin-directed video for "Circulation," a string-laced contemplation from Thurston Moore's latest solo disc Demolished Thoughts, is a visual collaboration between Moore and Rose Mackey, a woman described by Moore as being one of the "free-spirit poet/artist girls of Northampton, Massachusetts who would explode and levitate into expressionistic transcendence whenever cool records would spin." In other words, Mackey and a few of her friends dance as if possessed, while footage of Moore performing the song in a breezy field is laid on top, creating a dreamy, almost ghostly effect.
