Thurston Moore discusses his musical origins in New York in this La Blogotheque presentation, which is shot in the city that helped make his name. Naturally CBGB’s plays a big part in the tale—Moore claims he followed Joey Ramone down the street and asked him directions to the legendary video on his first visit. Aside from the tales Moore also performs a couple of tracks (“Blood Never Lies” and “Benediction”) from the recently released Demolished Thoughts album, complete with violin accompaniment. Check it out above.
