On their debut album Play Music, Swedish-American trio Thieves Like Us mine an entire full-length's worth of material out of the hollow, repetitive, cheap nature of youth club culture. That might seem kind of narrow to some, but since Thieves Like Us' target demographic is likely the subject of their music, there's definitely an audience out there. The video for simple, dark, disillusioned album cut "Your Heart Feels" is a stylish narrative about a young girl who's uh, stylish and disillusioned, presumably. The girl likes a boy and, far past just getting her heart broken, her story doesn't end well. Just a reminder to all of you ladies studying abroad; date American.
