These New Puritans: "Hologram" (Video)

These New Puritans’ Hidden was a chilly January release that seems to have slipped through the cracks since the justifiable praise that surrounded “We Want War” died down. Fortunately, the band is back to remind us of how impressive that record is via this video for “Hologram.”

This is the group edging toward slightly more commercial territory, with a concise two-and-a-half minute pop song that shows off the Robert Wyatt-esque vocals of Jack Barnett. The video is certainly less visually stimulating than that “We Want War” clip, but its understated and creepy nature is a decent match for the song.
