Most of These Are Powers songs sound like they're the soundtrack for some super-violent act; the drums and guitar parts drip menace, and singer Anna Barie sings like she's taunting someone as she beats the shit out of them. So on one hand, I'm disappointed that the video for "Easy Answers" isn't some kind of walk through the night, Death Wish type. But on the other, the clip that did get made--which features the band members in day-glo clothes chilling in the woods with visuals that look like they were dropped in from every video ever made for a new wave band between 1982-1984--is so thoroughly random that I'm cool with it.
