The big outdoor stage constructed for Jimmy Kimmel’s show is seeing plenty of action lately, including last night’s (April 12) performance by Them Crooked Vultures. There’s already a new album by the band in the works, but the promotional duties for the eponymous debut continued with these performances of “Gunman” and "Mind Eraser, No Chaser."
One of the best aspects of seeing this band play is the chance to witness Dave Grohl behind a kit again—he remains one of the most powerful drummers in the business, his talent clearly wasted as the singer in the Foo Fighters. The next high profile appearance for the super group is a slot at Coachella this Friday (April 16).
