Thee Oh Sees’ recent Warm Slime is one of the best records you’ll hear all year and is particularly notable for its gargantuan title track, which manages to pack in every idea the band has ever had and spews them out over the course of an epic 13 and-a-half minute audible scowl.
Perhaps the band doesn’t feel like Warm Slime needs any promo, because they’ve released this video for “Meat Step Lively” from their 2009 record, Help. The short and sweet garage stomper is accompanied by an appropriate video of jumpy clips, which goes some way to demonstrating the energetic and compelling live presence of the band. It may be a cliché, but great as they are on record, you really need to go and see Thee Oh Sees play.
