The xx: "Basic Space" (Video)
Like the song, the video for The xx's "Basic Space" is a low-key and minimal undertaking with the band performing their quiet opus in an oppressively black background. And in both cases, there are flashes of color and swirls of motion in there too.
The xx's debut XX is due out on Aug. 17 in the U.K. [Pitchfork]

Saw these guys twice this weekend. Beautiful music and they were also very nice.
I felt bad when their amp kept cutting out, but they dealt with it well.
