"Basic Space" (Live on Alexa Chung) (Video)

This video of The xx on Alexa Chung is actually from last week, but given that so many of you are picking their excellent XX as your album of the year (and rightfully so) I figure this would be of great interest (and because any excuse to post anything from The xx is a good excuse). MTV really busted its smoke machine budget for this one, allowing the band to have an appropriately melodramatic milieu to do "Basic Space," one of the many highlights of their debut. [MTV]
