The Wrens: "As I've Known"
You have to possess a great deal of patience to be a Wrens fan, but luckily the band has a track record of making their infrequent releases more than worth the wait. The latest taste of their forthcoming follow-up to The Meadowlands, "As I've Known," displays what the New Jersey indie heroes do best: a chiming guitar figure, an aching melody and production values that swathe the whole thing in an air of lo-fi melancholy. Can we please, please get the new album soon guys?
