When The White Stripes announced their split last week, part of their announcement really struck me: "The White Stripes do not belong to Meg and Jack anymore. The White Stripes belong to you now and you can do with it whatever you want." I took that as an opening for producers and artists across the board to remix, re-work, reinterpret, re-whatever tracks from the band's catalog. The Glitch Mob must have taken it that way, too, as they just released this remix of "Seven Nation Army." The L.A.-based trio doesn't really do too much to the track as it remains relatively similar to the source. But they did add a shitload of dirty, grimy synthesizers and bass to the mix, which makes this a much more party-friendly, club-ready track.
