The Wedding Present, an English band whose influence can be felt on emo, noise pop and any genre where a dude whines over hazy guitars, are the most recent act to venture into the A.V. Club's round room to record a cover for Undercover. The Wedding Present do a punk send up of the Rolling Stones' "19th Nervous Breakdown," and here's hoping the Stones do the same for the Wedding Present's "My Favourite Dress," which is also on the list for coverable songs. Lead singer David Gedge might be something like 50-years-old, but dude can still bring the shreddage.
