
One of the bigger things I learned about War on Drugs when I saw them open for Destroyer this year was that they have a sense of humor. Frontman Adam Granduciel heckled a reviewer, repeatedly asking to see the inside of her notebook, and cracking wise with the audience. The group was way more fun loving than their music would lead you to believe.
