Because they apparently love Band-indebted indie rockers, Urban Outfitters have premiered a new video for War on Drugs' "Come to the City," a slow burner from their upcoming sophomore album, Slave Ambient. The video finds a woman hanging out down by the river, doing shit that her parents probably wouldn't approve of. But then things take a turn for the arty when the choruses kick in, with splashes of paint providing a cover for the woman stealing a car. It has the same comforting retro feel as War in Drugs in general, which is a good thing, obviously.
Slave Ambient is due out on Aug. 16. [P4K]
