The War on Drugs return with their long-gestating sophomore album, Slave Ambient, next month, but here comes the video for the first single from the album: It's a clip for the rollicking "Baby Missiles," a track that perfectly encapsulates War on Drugs for the uninitiated. The band is all VU drone, crossed with frantic Bob Dylan folk. The video is a pretty rushed affair too: It's all abstract shots of the road, with shots of a kaleidoscope. "Baby Missiles" is one of War on Drugs' best tracks to date, and bodes well for the prospects of Slave Ambient, which is due out on Aug. 16 on Secretly Canadian.
