Seemingly random, circa 1950, stock footage propels the video for the War on Drugs’ “A Needle in Your Eye #16,” one of the highlights from their debut LP, Wagonwheel Blues.

The video showcases the clash of indigenous and modern cultures in the 1950’s, while the song is a showcase of the collision of Bob Dylan-style lyrics and singing and Velvet Underground-style drones.
