The Walkmen: "On the Water" (In a Van for La Blogotheque)

I can't wait until humanity's dominance of space is complete. Then, presumably, we'll be able to get La Blogotheque's Concerts a Emporter (the Take-Away Shows) from above the Earth's atmosphere. Imagine Bowie doing "Space Oddity" with the great blue orb in the background. At any rate, La Blogotheque can only advance as far as technology and resources permit, so for now we'll have to do with their new In a Van series, which contains this performance of "On the Water" by The Walkmen. Performing in a van doesn't provide the possibility of surprise that one gets when a band is just walking down the street and singing, but there's something dramatic about this clip, maybe the headlights backlighting Hamilton Leithauser as he sings.
