A week after the official video for “In the New Year” premiered, The Walkmen took the anthemic song to Juan’s Basement for a stirring performance. Frontman Hamilton Leithauser looks like a giant in the low-ceilinged basement, as the rest of the band sweat like the temperature is in the triple digits.
