A few weeks ago when The Von Bondies performed "Pale Bride" on Letterman, I said it sounds pretty much exactly like their last big single, "C'mon C'mon." It still pretty much does, except that in studio form, there's a few more subtle differences (the bridges, for instance) to be noticed. The song just got a pretty flashy video that features the band tossing appliances out of a house, and a burning chair, car, and plastic bag of dog crap (I assume), which symbolizes how little they care any more.
"Pale Bride" is on Love, Hate, and Then There's You, which is out now. [MTV]
