The Von Bondies

"Pale Bride" (Live on Letterman) (Video)

The last time the Von Bondies were on Letterman (way back in 2004), they did their biggest single, "C'mon C'mon," and in the years since the band got engaged in a protracted label war, and didn't put anything new out until this year, when they released Love, Hate and Then There's You.

The band played the first single, "Pale Bride," from Love, a song that sounds an awful lot like "C'mon C'mon," in that it basically just replaces the titular phrase with "I don't care anymore." The band got a pretty good intro from Letterman though--he asked the drummer about his drums before he introduced the band ("Those are cool. Are those yours?," Letterman asked). Whose drums would they be Dave? Paul's?
