The Virgins: "Venus In Chains"

New York indie rockers The Virgins have returned and there’s a new single to prove it. The new track, “Venus In Chains,” is the band’s first track to have an official release since their 2008 self-titled debut album. “Venus In Chains” is a throwback poppy rock track with vocals and guitar work reminiscent of early Tom Petty. The single is officially due out May 26 via Glassine Box, but in the mean time, it’s available to stream and download over at SoundCloud.

To promote the single, The Virgins have one show scheduled in the U.S., at Mercury Lounge in New York City on May 26 with openers Grand Rapids. There's no word yet about future albums or more tour dates in North America.
