The Verve

Mover (MP3)

Average Rating: 5.00

Last week The Verve dropped “Love is Noise” (from their upcoming album Forth) on us via MySpace, now they’ve dropped non-album track “Mover” on us as a free download from the band’s website (only available for the next week).

The track is much stronger than “Love is Noise,” as it is more guitar-oriented, and it sounds like it would fit well on Urban Hymns. Why this song would make the cut on Forth above “Love is All” is anyone’s guess, but if “Mover” is any indication, the guys in The Verve are still capable of writing some pretty good songs.

Mover is an old song that was played live round 1993-1994...

The Verve's official web site is calling it a new track. At this time we're going to stick with that unless told otherwise from the band or band's management. Thanks in any case Gecko.
