Perhaps predictably, there's a whole lot of walking in the video for the Ting Tings' latest single, "We Walk." But there's also a lot of freeze framing of people in mid-jump, mid-snowball toss, and mid-fall.
"We Walk" is an interesting choice for the latest single from Ting Tings' We Started Nothing, principally because it doesn't really come to any sort of climax--it just moves at its meandering tempo without ever paying off into a dance chorus like the rest of the band's songs. You'd think given that the moderate success The Ting Tings have is on the back of dancers like "Shut Up and Let Me Go," "Great DJ," and "That's Not My Name," they'd (they actually chose this as their new single, not Columbia, their record label) have gone with similar material. I guess they're tired of being known as that British two-piece dance outfit. [Angry Ape]

It's still a pretty catchy song though. I think it'll be another big song for them.
