The Ting Tings were the musical guests on the Sigourney Weaver-hosted episode of SNL this weekend, performing "That's Not My Name" and "Shut Up & Let Me Go" in between sketches I assume were not as funny as the sketches used to be. I think the only thing more questionable than that weird body suit is the sound mixing, which is desert dry and curiously quiet. "That's Not My Name" is above and "Shut Up & Let Me Go" is below. Notice the costume change and remember: Costume changes are lame, kids.
Ting Tings' We Started Nothing is out now.
It's weird they're on a late night kick right now considering this album came out a bit ago. Good for them though.
I think the costume change was perfectly fine.. NOT lame. I saw them when they came to AZ with Pink and they were AMAZING! Just as amazing as they were on SNL. I am an african american 27 year old woman and I still jam to the whole CD. Sometimes when I have it playing in my truck with my windows down people are like... "what the hell is that black chick listening too?" Just wait America, The Ting Tings are going to be a house hold name if they are not already! Go Ting Tings!
