Manchester duo The Ting Tings dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on June 7 to make their U.S. TV debut with “Shut Up and Let Me Go” off their debut album We Started Nothing (and the iPod ad that bothered you before the Coldplay one hit the airwaves like a bomb three weeks ago).

Singer Katie White dances around while playing the song’s guitar riff before throwing her axe behind her back and banging on a small bass drum for added percussion while drummer Jules de Martino gives the song its propulsive rhythm.

We Started Nothing is out now, and the band are on a short U.S. tour through June 21 before coming back stateside for a date at Lollapalooza.
