The Thermals' set at Pitchfork Festival was rife with covers, including the one above, which is of Green Day's mid-90s pop-punk masterpiece "Basket Case." Considering The Thermals are often better at the pop-punk game than Green Day ever were, the cover is pretty solid, and it actually sounds like it could have been a Thermals original.
