The Sword: "Tres Brujas"
Metal/hard rock foursome The Sword are prepping the release of their third project, Warp Riders. And to get us all ready for what's apparently being described as a "space opera meets post-apocalyptic Western," the band has dropped Warp Riders' lead single, which is also the first leak. The catchy-as-hell "Tres Brujas" (or "Three Witches") especially hits its stride about halfway through when the band offers a mini-breakdown. Beyond that, this riff- and groove-heavy track additionally serves as the record's second song and first with vocals as it begins the sci-fi (hard sci-fi, I hope) narrative spanning the entirety of Warp Riders.
