The Streets: "Trust Me" (Video)

The Streets' Mike Skinner explains the situation behind this video best: "Old song, new video." "Trust Me" was originally released last year through Skinner's prolific Twitter account, and now, over a year later, we have a video. Conceptually, the clip is pretty simple--just a bunch of shots of Skinner in front of various backgrounds and in varying shades of light. There's still enough going on in said backgrounds to make it pretty entertaining though. Not to mention the incredibly funky track. Two words that I never really thought I'd use to describe a Streets song, but I'm not complaining.

The Streets' new album Computers And Blues is currently due out sometime in 2011, and will be Skinner's final album under The Streets name.

As often as he lets me down, a deep part of me really wants Mike Skinner to make another great album. I think he's got it in him.
