Mike Skinner has promised to unleash three new songs on the world via his Twitter feed this week. The first of these tracks emerged late yesterday (April 14) and is titled “I Love My Phone.” Skinner seems uneasy about the venture, saying: “I'm gonna be in so much trouble.”

“I Love My Phone” is propelled by stuttering beats, a heavy Eastern influence and amusing lyrics. “How will I survive without my outside line in my trousers tonight?” he asks. The song is available to download through this ZShare link, and it looks like Skinner has the second track in the series ready, saying: “Today's song is done. I'm going to look at some Picasso and then have a baguette merguez.”
