The Smith Westerns: "Weekend"
The glammy Chicago punks known as Smith Westerns have revealed the opening track from their upcoming album Dye It Blonde, and it's definitely a huge switch up when compared to their lovably raw debut. As soon as you hit play on "Weekend," the track's improved production is immediately apparent. Cullen Omori's vocals are less bratty and more breezy and wistful. The whole thing is held together by an absolute earworm of a chorus, backed by soft synth tones and jangly guitars. Give it a listen below.
