The Rolling Stones nostalgia machine continues to bowl over the meek this November, when the band reissues its 1978 LP, Some Girls. Like the recent reissue of Exile on Main Street, this version of Some Girls will come complete with 12 previously unreleased tracks from the sessions that produced the album. The first of said tracks, "No Spare Parts," is now out on the Internet, and like pretty much every "sessions" track, it's clear why this thing didn't make the album: It's worse than anything off the album proper. This sort of sounds like the vocals were touched up recently, but then again, Mick Jagger's voice has remained pretty much the same for the last 40 years.
Some Girls is due out on Nov. 21. [UCC]
