Even though videogames routinely make as much money as movies, it still blows my mind that videogames sometimes get soundtrack albums. The latest? Arkham Asylum, the new big budget Batman game, has a soundtrack featuring music from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the Duke Spirit, that Deftones dude's drag band, and the Raveonettes. The Raveonettes contribute a new cut to the album: It's called "Oh, Stranger," and it's a song that would probably be popular in the Batmobile. It's all chugging guitars, lyrics about trying to hide from Batman, and synths that sound like smoky manhole covers. You can listen over at 130 BPM.
The Arkham Asylum album is due out on Oct. 4, while the game is due out on the 18.
