
Dance-punk OGs The Rapture released In the Grace of Your Loveearlier this year on DFA, a collection of tracks that often emphasized groove and rhythm over snarling attitude. "In Love Divine" is a bonus track coupled with the album's Japanese edition, and it traffics in the sort of aggression that its parent record lacked.
Lyrically, "In Love Divine" shares many of the same themes as its counterparts on the album: children, growth, and an outpouring of love. That being said, the sonic landscape being explored here is vastly different. The song squeals and thunders from its opening seconds, and before even a minute has passed the listener is being thrown into a full-throttle doom-disco romp.
