“The Poison Tree” (Live On Leno) (Video)

The David Lynch Foundation released a compilation titled Music That Changes the World back in July 2011, which featured exclusive tracks by Iggy Pop, Peter Gabriel, Donovan, and many others. A physical release of the set was produced for Record Store Day this year, and Moby headed out to Jay Leno’s show last night to promote it, playing his “The Poison Tree” from the album. This isn’t the Moby you are used to hearing—he forgoes the energy rush of hits like “Go” in favor of a rootsy, blues-based stew, complete with a gospel-style backing singer. Check it out below.
