The National: "Vanderllyle Cry Baby" (Live Video)
Let the YouTubing of new National tracks begin, folks: Here's a video of the band performing "Vanderllyle Cry Baby" from the band's show last week in Brooklyn. It's not a bad clip actually--the fan who took this is awfully close to the stage--but the song is less exciting than the one they did on Fallon last week. This one kind of just meanders around a somber mood before just coming to a close. "Mr. November" this is not.
The National's High Violet is due out on May 13. [P4K]

I'm really enjoying the sound of the two National tracks I've now heard. I can't wait for this album.
