The National are currently in the midst of a lengthy tour (see the dates at their MySpace), and they are reportedly trotting out a bunch of new songs on the tour. To promote a string of Canadian dates, the band stopped by CBC's Radio Q to perform "The Runaway," a ruminative new track that features quiet guitars and a brass section. It's very much in tune with the band's contribution to the Dark Was the Night album, "So Far Around the Bend."
