Here's the second video in the National's recent session with Pitchfork TV, in which the band tackle the climbing "Anyone's Ghost." The footage her really captures the subtle differences between The National live and the Nation on disc. On wax, "Anyone's Ghost" is a bit controlled, while the band really goes of the hinges in the last minute here. It's a reminder that they can blow shit up when they want to. You'd be hard pressed to find a band firing on all cylinders quite like The National right now.
High Violet is due out on May 11. [P4K]
