Those new songs by The Mountain Goats just keep coming. The band is currently on tour, where promises were made that an abundance of previously unheard material would be aired. True to his word, John Darnielle has been delivering the goods, with the keyboard-heavy “In Memory of Satan” the latest new track to be debuted. Don’t be confused by the opening music in this clip—the Mountain Goats sound hasn’t changed that much—which preceded the performance in Tallahassee, Florida. This track will presumably feature on the forthcoming album, tentatively titled Transcendental Youth. Check it out in the clip below. [via CoS]
