“The Motion Makes Me Last” (Video)

Given that most post-rock is often compared to sound architecture, it’s kind of surprising that it’s taken this long for a post-rock music video to be just beautiful shots of architecture like Eluvium’s “The Motion Makes Me Last.” It’s a pretty impressive clip, since it’s impossible for all these buildings to be together like this (at least I think), so there’s some serious video trickery going on here. Plus this works like the song: the background is gloomy and hazy, while the vocals are steely and emotionless. This could probably be turned into an ad for a cement company with very little effort.
