Big congratuatlions to The Mae Shi for turning Christian Bale's huge blow-up on the set of Terminator Salvation into a workable track less than 24 hours after the audio hit the internet. According to assistant director Bruce Franklin, Bale let loose on Director of Photography Shane Hurlbut because he interrupted him during the most emotional scene in the movie. That's fine Bale, but you've opened yourself up to, not only musical ribbings like this one, but countless American Psycho jokes. Hope my business card's not nicer than yours (it's not). Best line in the whole song: "Step back stay out of his light/better not try to put up a fight/Newsies will get you tonight/cause they're professional." Newsies reference for the win.

I sure hope this is a one-off and the Mae Shi don't continue down the electro-pop route. They're such a good rock band. |

This song is great! I think that you guys should totally make a music video with clips (permission granting) of Mr Bale. I'm no agent but this would be a great way to bring mainstream exposure to your group. Honestly, I've never heard of your band until someone sent me this link. The Mae-Shi rip people off. I ordered a CD from their website 2 months ago and have not received it. They've ignored all of my emails and have note responded. |
