Perhaps the response you had when you found out that the guys who do SNL's Digital Shorts were making a whole album was, "really?" Far past the, "yes, really" phase, The Lonely Island's debut album Incredibad is coming out on Feb. 10, and is packed with guest spots like T-Pain's in "I'm On A Boat." With a beat that showcases just how much attention The Lonely Island guys pay to mainstream pop, the song sends up the time-honored music video tradition of filming on boats. The best verses on this might track belong to T-Pain, if only for the virtue of him going along with this. "Poseidon look at me!"

that guy, stop being elitist. "(insert form of art) was much better when___" does not make you more cultured than anyone else. i thought the skit was witty and a pretty good satire. you didn't. art is subjective.

Great comeback, Jake. I hate when people say "Back in the day, it was so much better." Just because someone is old and lived through something does not necessarily make anything better. It usually seems to mean they were closed minded and can't take in anything new.

Yeah, I am 37, been watching comedy since Carson ann Benny Hill, and that boat skit was hilarious, even more so when showcased in a weak SNL season. Glad I tuned in. (This skit required you to have enough familiarity with current rap videos to both know how they pose on boats and to join in poking fun at the whole genre.)
