The Kooks: "How'd You Like That" (Live On KCRW) (Video)
British indie-rockers The Kooks indulged in a session for Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW last month, which you can hear in full via this link. Video of the footage has also surfaced online, principally in the clip of “How’d You Like That,” a song that originally appeared on the band’s Junk of the Heart from earlier this year. That record built on the solid following the group has amassed on both sides of the Atlantic, and it’s not hard to see why they’re so popular—“How’d You Like That” is chirpy, Kinksian rock, full of gentle hooks and quirky little turns, including a belly laugh from singer Luke Pritchard toward the end.
