The Knux

"Fire" (Video)

The Knux's Remind Me in 3 Days had the unfortunate break of coming out in late October when everyone was more concerned with the looming release of Kanye West's 808s and Heartbreak. But the album was one of 2008's strongest rap debuts--it mixed rap and rock in the way that it should be done, and it captured the party life in L.A. from the perspective of a pair of out of towners entering that milieu for the first time.

The group just put out another video from the album, this time for the blaring "Fire," which follows a day in the life of the Knux. Apparently when you're the Knux, precious animation follows you around and appears on your breakfast table in the form of Tetris pieces. Oh to be a rapper. [NahRight]

I've long felt that there are parts on that Knux album that sound better than anything N.E.R.D. tried to accomplish on their last two albums. They kinda beat them at their own game in a way. Glad to see they're releasing another single.

The Knux thrash N.E.R.D. in every imaginable way. The N.E.R.D. are the sucks.
