The Kills seem to have recovered from their bus being stolen just fine: They find time to fool around with guns, look disaffected, and be generally “edgy” in this video for Midnight Boom’s “Tape Song.” Apparently the video is comprised of clips that the band has shot on their tour, and if that’s true, The Kills spend their free time doing some pretty freaky shit. I have a place in my heart for the disaffected, "edgy" Kills. Agreed that they deserve the scare quotes, but I still kinda like them. I can't help it! Velvet Underground + White Stripes + drum machine + some good loud guitar sounds... And I feel sorry for them about the bus, too...
