The Kills are on their way to Indio in California to perform at the Coachella festival this weekend, and they stopped by Conan O’Brien’s show en route. “Satellite” is taken from the recently released Blood Pressures, which again demonstrates their knack for writing scuzzy rock tunes in a concise manner. It’s slightly jarring to see Mosshart and Hince flanked by a trio of backing singers/dancers, but their vocal contributions help guide the song to an eerie close.
