Carson Daly’s show sent a camera crew to the Music Box Theatre to shoot this recent performance by the Kills, which aired on his show last night (May 18). The band performed the opening two cuts from Blood Pressures—“Future Starts Slow” and “Satellite”—before an impressively large crowd. It’s a wise choice to capture The Kills in this way, they look far more confident and at-ease than they do in the usual late night talk show studio environment. The pair has expanded the lineup for this tour, bringing in a set of backing vocalists for some of the songs, but this version of “Future Starts Slow” demonstrates how the chemistry between the duo is still the main draw.
