The Kills are gearing up for the release of their fourth album, Blood Pressures, which stands as their first since 2008's Midnight Boom. But even with that downtime, they haven't lost a step. Although, that was to be expected considering frontwoman Alison Mosshart was making slightly similar tunes with the Dead Weather. As such, the grittiness of her work with The Kills remains here on their latest single, "DNA." It's a moody, dark piece that feels as though it's about to explode into something bigger. But it never does.
You can download "DNA" off the Kills' website. Blood Pressures is out April 5.
