The Killers

Losing Touch (Live in Las Vegas) (Video)

Average Rating: 5.50

I’m starting to believe that The Killers tried out Bruce Springsteen-style populism on Sam’s Town solely so they could do another album of synth-led new wave. This new track, “Losing Touch,” that they premiered this weekend in Las Vegas would seem to be proof: it’s a jittery, huge, anthem a la stuff on Hot Fuss. However, they do work in some gratuitous horns, so maybe this is a cross between Hot Fuss and Sam’s Town.

The Killers’ new album, Day & Age is due out November 25 via Island. [Stereogum]

It sounds like something from the Psychedelic Furs...not that its a bad thing..

The killers will be like in Hot Fuss when they stop working with these "over influential" producers. Sam's Town although a good album IMHO sounded too much like the other albums produced by that producer...and Human..man dont get me started how that disco biscuit producer ruined a great track!...
Brandon, put on a little guyliner, get melancholy, passionate, let the synths resonate that ...like In HOT FUSS..thats $.02
