The Killers have apparently leapt wholeheartedly back into the Duran Duran brand of new wave revivalists they were back around the time of Hot Fuss. The first single from their upcoming Day & Age, “Human,” is appropriately glitter-fied, reverb-ed, and gloomy to get fans back on board after Sam’s Town found The Killers worshipping at the helmet-hair-less altar of Bruce Springsteen. “Are we human, or are we dancer?” Brandon Flowers asks over and over again. I don’t know dude, you’re the one with the feathered shoulder pads.
