Georgia born, New York raised emcee The Kid Daytona has been blessing mics with his laid back flow for the better part of the last decade. Today he has unleashed his latest mixtape, The Interlude, a collaboration with clothing company LRG. The Interlude, which features production from 6th Sense, Cook Classics and 9th Wonder with guest spots from Aloe Blacc, Freddie Gibbs, and more, is inspired by the interludes from classic albums from hip hop's golden era. The production on The Interlude's fifteen tracks takes inspiration from Pete Rock & CL Smooth, The Main Ingredient, Dr. Dre's The Chronic, Nas's Illmatic, and many more. The production here is fierce, and Daytona doesn't disappoint.

I'm excited to give this a full shot. I was pretty underwhelmed by Come Fly With Me, though I got really into Daytona 500. Hopefully this can win me back
I'm a old school cat trying to get into the new school game, and I've been having a difficult time finding new artists with good beats. This is some refreshing ish! Great stuff.
